To all my C-HAWK Family,

When I started this squad some 13 years ago in Air Warrior, who would have guessed the C-HAWKS would still be around today!? We started out as a small fighter/bomber squad with just a few members who shared the same views on what a squad should be and the principles to be followed. It didn't take long for the AW community to notice us. We flew together......helped each other out...and WORKED together. We got to each other and became friends....we actually looked forward to our squad nights!!! We grew fast.. sometimes to fast.....because our ideals and the way we handled ourselves we were noticed by all the other squads. We were the best then and still the best now!!!! We helped anyone who needed help being a new player or a old salt... it didn't matter. When AWMV died...The AW people named bases after the better squads....Our Home base in AW was changed to the name C-HAWKS. Made me real proud!!!!! I won't bore you all with all our achievements or setbacks...we had plenty!! But the ties we had as friends and the feelings of family rather than a ordinary squad pulled us thru the hard times and happy times as well. For me to mention all the members of the C-HAWKS would take me forever so I will just mention a few people that has helped the squad survive all these years.
Putty......without you these last few years i would have thrown in the towel!!!! <<S>> to you Old Friend....enjoy your retirement!
6Kill.....What can i say to a person who picked up the ball when i couldn't be there to help!!!! Thanks for keeping squad together in WWII on line and being a friend all these years. <S>
Odds....HM....Barsi....BigD....Hux....and all the rest of you C-HAWKS in WWII online...<<S>> Great job!!!! The squad has never been better!!!!

I could not be any prouder to be part of such a squad as the C-HAWKS Squad and Family!!!! Thank you all for allowing me to be your leader all these years. You have made these last 13 years a pleasure!!!! God Bless you all!!! <S>
Even though Putty and I have retired as active leaders...we still will be online and flying with you and you all will be in our thoughts every day!!!! Remember....One for all & all for one!!!! The squad is the people in it....not just the officers and leaders!!!!

JHFFO and my family,

You and I have come along way from the old days of AW AOL. We had our fun and watch thing change before our eyes. I know we had our work cut out but we kept moving forward and driving the spirit that you and I shared untill it became part of our family. You and I had the same morals and we thought the leadership to all that came. I know the times are hard for you to fly like you once did but, I don't want the memory of what you started and what I pushed so every hard to be lost or forgotten. I have stepped down from leading as you have. I watch the men of many give me a parade that makes me cry to this day. I can say at this time that we have done what we set out to do.

To set the new wave of leaders and to never be forgotten I would like to set forth this day AUG. 12, 2003 to all that have served under us and the future of the leaders to be.

This is the only thing that JHFFO or I can give you for all the hard work and dedication. With JHFFO blessing, approval and his final address this will be binding for all C-HAWKS to wear in honor from the two retired men that have given you all the love and friend ship.
